Doom’ssingle player campaign is full of secrets and collectibles.
The list below contains information ontypes of secrets,rewards for unlocking themandtheir usage(e.g.
strengthening your hero or unlocking collectibles).
On the next few pages you’re able to learn about their locations.
General information about secrets in Doom
Automap
Every mission has 1 Automap terminal.
Interact with it to reveal the entire map.
You don’t get any additional rewards for finding Automaps (e.g.
Argent Cell
There are 12 Argent Cells inDoom.
These collectibles are very important because they provide permanent boosts to your stats.
it’s possible for you to choose toextend your health or armor bar or to increase ammo capacity.
In the first few levels you should choose between health and armor.
More ammo is necessary in the later parts where you will have to fight more challenging monsters.
Fully upgrade one of the three categories (health, armor or ammo) to unlockArgent Overloadtrophy.

Field Drone
The game has 12 Field Drones.
This is another important throw in of secrets -each Drone allows you to unlock one new weapon modification.
Unlock all weapon upgrades to getHot Swappertrophy.
That is not all - mastering modified weapons allows you to unlockSpecialistandIDKFAtrophies.
Data Log
There are 49 Data Logs inDoom.
Data Logs in levels that take place in the UAC facility look like small drives.
In Hell, they look like terminals.
Each new secret adds one codex entry.
Reading them is optional but they provide you with knowledge of the game’s world.
Get the entire collection of Data Logs to unlockHistoriantrophy.
Elite Guard
it’s possible for you to find 36 corpses of Elite Guards.
Each one of them has a Research Token that can be spent on upgrading your Praetor Suit.
increase resistance to certain elements or they can make you move faster.
Fully upgrade one of the 5 Praetor Suit categories to unlockTinkeringtrophy.

Bobblehead - Collectibles
Doomhas 26 Bobbleheads, also called collectibles.

These secrets can be treated as easter eggs.
These figures are miniatures of the Doom Marine wearing different armors.
These items don’t have any particular usage.

Collect all the Bobbleheads to unlockEvery Nook and Cranny.
Trial Stone
Doom’ssingle player campaign has 12 Trial Stones.
Find them to complete their challenges.
To complete them you may have to, e.g.
kill enemies in a certain way or to go through a map within a time limit.
Runes are related to two achievements -A Gift from BeyondandThe Circle is Complete.
That is not all.Collected runes can be activated in the equipment menu.
Every active rune gives you a new ability or increases your stats.
Always start by searching for a lever.
Enter inside to unlock a classic map.
you’re free to select these levels in the main menu.
There are no rewards for completing classicDoomlevels (trophies etc.).
Secret Area
A unique category - secret areas are usually tied with other collectibles and secrets.
There are only a few exceptions where a secret location can be a completely separate area, e.g.
a place where you could find a new weapon or a lot of supplies.There are 79 Secret Areas inDoom.
