Your character has four basic offensive abilities.
you’re able to use only one per turn (in standard conditions).
These are:
Abilities- special abilities that consume your PP (the blue bar).
Weapon attacks are divided into:
Basic attack- the regular weak attack.
Power Attack- a strong, single attack that deals more damage than the regular attack.Used mainly against the armor.
Symbolized by the helmet icon, next to the opponent’s health bar.
Magic attack- an attack reinforced with magic.
The best combination that deals the most damage, in the majority of cases.
Then, the power attack is more effective.
