Dear Diaryis one of the Story Missions inAnthem.
This is the first out of the three missions related to Matthias and a gear called Manifold.
During it you will face many enemies and solve a puzzle.
First visit to The Well
You have to meet with Matthias duringCrafting the Dawn ShieldStory Mission.
After that, you have to go on an expedition.
Go to the ruins pointed by the game.
it’s crucial that you enterThe Well.
Your first visit to The Well isn’t long, but you will return here later.
Reach the locked passage and then look for a corpse that can be examined (see the picture).
it’s possible for you to now leave the dungeon.
Fly to the location where you will face Dominion forces.
Watch out for Dominion Storm Valkyries and other powerful enemies.
Find interactive objects and examine them.
First Dominion camp
Fly tothe first Dominion camp.
Watch out forGauss Turrets- they can deal a lot of damage.
Destroy them all first and then focus on attacking “regular” Dominion soldiers.
Be careful, you’ve got the option to’t respawn here.
This will trigger a green zone - defend yourself here until the decrypting process is over.
Second Dominion camp
Fly tothe second Dominion camp.
This place doesn’t have any turrets.
However, you will face, e.g.
Use your Ultimate to defeat them.
Find another signet to start the decrypting process.
Keep defending your position until the bar is full.
Return to The Well
you could now go back toThe Well.
The passage that was blocked is now open.
There arethree mini-bossesin the main chamber - theDominion Trio.
These three Valkyries shouldn’t be a challenge for you.
Go to the Manifold.
You learn that youhave to deactivate its energy barrier.
The puzzle is divided intothree parts.
Luckily, none of them are really difficult.
Solving the barrier puzzle
There are three gates in the chamber(see the picture above).
The color of the symbol displayed in the middle of these gates changes when you interact with these objects.
Your objective is to set these three symbols in the right way.
The solution is random.
However, the puzzle itself isn’t that complicated.
Each of the gates has a hint nearby.
The first hintis a small symbol on the wall near the bridge leading to the gates.
Interact with the gate to set the same color.
The second hintis the small symbol displayed on the high wall near the gates.
Interact with the gate to set the same color.
The third hintis the small symbol below the bridge leading to the gates.
Interact with the gate to set the same color.
If all the symbols have the right colors, the force barrier will deactivate.
