Talk to Seward (screen) and you’ll automatically enter this building.

Van Helsing decides to leave Seward here and to defeat the monster on his own.

Obviously you should consider talking to the owner of the inn, a man called Abraham du Varmin.

Sadly, Van Helsing won’t receive any new intel on Mina’s whereabouts.

Go back to Seward and examine the small table.

Pick up a few items - aSpoonand aSilverpaper.

Now you will have to choose a small bowl (screen).

Two additional items will be added to your inventory -Straight pretzelandRound pretzel.

Sadly, you won’t be allowed to examine it.

Choose a passageway located near Seward.

Try picking up a key and opening a door - no luck.

Seward’s condition is going to get worse in the meantime.

This will trigger a new conversation.

You will have to talk to the owner of the tavern again.

As you’ve noticed, Abraham has left the tavern for a short while.

This will allow you to pick up a document which you couldn’t examine before.

You’ll gain possession ofExtract from Harker’s Journal.

Get ready for some shocking news - Harker has been turned into a vampire.

Close this window and you’ll receive a new report -The Documents from Garroten’s Tavern.

Varmin should be back in a few seconds and he’ll bring a remedy for Seward.

Van Helsing will automatically ask his colleague to distract the owner of the tavern.

Choose a spoon from your inventory and use it on one of the benches (screen).

You’ll gain possession of aSticky substance.

Also, you will have to takeWild boar’s molarwhich can be found to the left of Varmin.

Open your inventory and get ready to mix a few items so that create a false key.

Start off by choosing a sticky substance from the spoon.

Use the substance on the silver paper.

Now you must combine the silver paper with three other items - wild boar’s molar and two pretzles.

Also, combine two pretzles together to make it receive a larger one.

Finally, mix a large pretzel with wild boar’s molar (screen).

You’ll end up having something that looks like a key.
