Therefore, you should remain in shadows and go towards the elevator only after it stops at your floor.
Locate the interactive catch shown in the above screenshot and shoot the Rope Arrow at it.
Grab the rope and use it to get to the rooftop of the central elevator, i.e.
the one that started coming down, at the moment at which you started exploring the cathedral.
Remain on the roof of the main elevator and find here aPocket Portrait - 4G.
Gain speed here and jump towards the small ledge to the South of here.
Jump down to a lower level, approach the vertical shaft and leap towards the hanging rope.
Both of the variants above will allow you to get inside the cargo elevator.
