In the fifth location of Lake Ridden, you will encounter a few puzzles.
Most of them will require good perception and hearing.
The Elevator

Outside, you might find a lift behind the barn.
It is located right next to the broken stairs.
You must use it to get to the next part of the location.
You cannot get to the top in any other way.
There are9 leversin the elevator.
Eight of them must be set into the appropriate position.
The final, ninth lever is used to activate the elevator.
There is a music box above the levers.
When you use it, a melody will begin playing.It is composed out of 8 different sounds.
The position of the lever depends on the key of the music.
When you finish setting up the levers, pull the last one.
Thanks to this, the elevator will begin to operate.
To get out of it you will have to solve two puzzles.
The first one is to prepare aRat Potion.
To prepare the mixture you gotta collect the necessary ingredients.
These are scattered throughout the room.
You will find the lavender and nettle first.
They are hanging from the ceiling, right next to the table with the mortar on it.
Another important ingredient is the liquid from thered bottle.
To get to it you have to walk over the mattress and fire up the chest.
The Mushrooms can be found near the mortar.
This way, you will prepare the required mixture.
To drink the Rat Potion you need acup.
There is one lying on the mattress.
You must approach it, pick up the item and use it on the mortar.
This will cause your character to drink the potion.
After drinking the Rat Potion you will see many signs and markings that you have not seen before.
Thanks to this you will be able to discover a loose tile on the floor.
You have to pull out the knife out of your equipment and use it on the slab.
As a result, you will gain access to thekeys.
After collecting them, go to the door on the floor.
Open it with the keys and go down.

At the bottom, you will find a mechanism.
To make it work, you must arrange the gears properly.
These are divided into three types:large,mediumandsmall.
This way, each wheel will be connected to the others.
All you have to do now is to pull the lever located next to the mechanism.
Achieving this will fire up the exit.
