Without finishing the above-mentioned quest you won’t be able to completeThe Missing Link.
Obtain the Signal Repeater Schematic
The first objective in this mission is to obtainSignal Repeater Schematic.
The location of it is shown in the picture above and will be also marked on your map.
The place is next to theTop of the World(the location in which you take the quests).
This area is full ofSuper Mutants, so get ammo and Stimpaks.
you might reach the place by walking along the cliff and then jumping down carefully.
It’s worth using the Power Armor because it reduces the damage from falling.
You don’t need to enter the building, you’ll find the schematic outside.
Obtain the Duplexer and the Transponder
The next objective is to getRCX01-A39 DuplexerandSMU-97 Transponder.
You’ll find the duplexer in the98 NAR Regionaland the transponder is located inHorizon’s Rest.
Both of this places are marked in the picture above and will be marked in your game map.
You’ll findSMU-97 Transponderin the plane wreck in98 NAR Regional.
TheRCX01-A39 Duplexercan be found in theHorizon’s Rest.
you could also use grenades.
Find the nearest tinker’s workbench and go to the Quest Items tab.
Return to theTop of the Worldand from here go to the place marked in the picture above.
You’ll get there without any problems because the radar is visible from a long distance.
Once you get there, find the antenna shown in the picture above.
There will be a lot ofaggressive robotsin the area and oneSuper Mutantin the blue post.
Get rid of all the opponents first to make the task easier.
Go to the antenna and use the interaction button - you’ll roll out the signal repeater.
After that be ready to fight the robots.
If the number of enemies overwhelms you, use grenades or Molotov cocktails.
It is also worth hiding behind the antenna to avoid being shot.
You’ll need to power the installed signal repeater.
Completing the quest
Lastly, you have to speak to Rose.
Use the interaction button on the Madigan’s corpse to updateThe Missing Linkquest.
Speak with her and you’ll get the next main story mission -Flavors of Mayhem.
