Managing the resources inThronebreaker: The Witcher Talesis crucial for being successful.
Raw materials are useful for many activities related to map exploration and trade.
They are also essential for expanding the camp, recruiting units and increasing the combat capabilities of your army.
This chapter describes all the resources available in the game and how to get them.
Gold
Gold is one of the 3 resources available inThronebreaker: The Witcher Tales.
It is also useful when trading with mobile shopkeepers.
Gold can be won in many ways.
The basic source of gold is the loot that can be found during the exploration of the world.
For winning battles and solving puzzles you are also rewarded with a certain amount of gold coins.
However, there is an additional way of getting more affluent.
At the second level, the bonus will increase up to a maximum of 150 gold pieces.
This allows you to gain a lot more gold for your usual storyline activities.
Wood
Wood the second resource available inThronebreaker: The Witcher Tales.
As you explore the world, attempt to find larger wood dumps.
Another way to get wood quickly is to trade with shopkeepers.
In some trading options you will be able to exchange some gold for the wood stock.
It is worth taking advantage of this opportunity because gold is much easier to obtain than other raw materials.
Recruits
Recruits are the last resources available inThronebreaker: The Witcher Tales.
Recruits are essential for creating new units to power your deck.
It is also useful for helping the citizens.
Look for recruits in villages and larger rural buildings with blue flags.
After clicking on the flag, you will receive a certain number of recruits.
Another way of recruiting is to help any NPCs you meet, who may want to join your army.
At the second level the value of this bonus will increase to 2 recruits after each fight win.
