There are no distinct differences between the three playable races.
They all have almost the same buildings and gather almost the same resources.
The differences are mainly in their units.

Humans
The most balanced faction.
Has mediocre basic units but also powerful elite units such as Man-At-Arms or Paladin.
They have two mage units and their archers can shoot from far away.
This race has a monster unit called War Troll.
