The quest is automatically triggered after finishing the game’s prologue, i.e.
after the ship with the protagonist onboard wrecks.
At the same time, you will receive another main quest -To Hunt a Good.
These two quests are largely intertwined.
Approach the rostrum(M3,1)and listen to the conversation betweenGovernor ClarioandIkawha.
You have to meet the governor in person, so head down to theGovernor’s Mansion(M5).
Enter the office(M5,3)and talk toGovernor Clario.
You have to find for him the lost animancers.
To do that, you have to reach theEngwithean Digsite(M8).

Approach the big cage in the central part of theEngwithean Digsite(M8,4).
The team will be attacked byYoung Panthers.
When the area is clear, it’s possible for you to nudge the cage and free the prisoners.
You canmake him a permanent member of your team.
The entrance to the dungeon is located East of the cage you’ve just opened.
Exploring the entire dungeon is optional.
A bit farther, you’re free to also encounter the Essence Anomalies.
You should also stop by the northwest room, i.e.
Oderisi’s workshop(M9,8).
you might peek inside some of the boxes - one of them contains aJournal Entry.
The ultimate destination is the northern hall with a shining column(M9,9).
There, you will findOderisiand obtainOderisi’s Notes.
A paragraph scene will commence, which will be linked to theTo Hunt a Godmain quest.
You will also learn about having to visitNeketakaas part of the main quest,Eora’s Veins.
You have to go back to the beach, i.e.
toVilario’s Rest(M1).
A cut-scene where you meetIkawhawill commence, and the ship will be back on water.
