The quest starts when you enter the portal inThe Shattered Passage(M6,4).
LikeThe Sunken KingdomandThe Endless Queries, this is a side quest that is not required for completing the expansion.
The main goal of this task is to gain four parts ofWaidwen’ssoul.
Note- before you roll this quest, you should first completeThe Endless Queries.
This will give you theBetrayaldagger, which is useful for getting one part of the souls.
You will find a group of soldiers andWaidwen- talk to him.
After the conversation his soul will disintegrate into four parts.
Take a sundial from him - it will be used to move around the location.
Then you will be attacked by a few souls, but these are not demanding opponents.
After the fight, another dialogue will start - this time withEothas.
Your task now is to find four parts ofWaidwen’ssoul.
First, search for nearby bodies and takeEvon Dewr Tower Keyfrom them.
You will be time-warped.
Use the key you have obtained to enter the tower and search the barrel for theMemory of Magranite Incantations.
The book will be needed later part of the quest.
You will move to the place with another light source - use it and set the sundial towards dawn.
You will be time-walked again.
Talk to a nearby priest and even get the bookMemory of Magranite Incantationsfrom him.
After the dialogue, you will see a bomb from which you have to take next soul fragment.
Regardless of the option you choose, you will gain another soul fragment.
On the bridge, turn right and turn the clock towards dusk near the shaft of light.
Then use the nearby portal and use another light source - this time point the clock towards the south.
You will move to a new place.
Here you will find another soul fragment.
You will appear next to the next beam of light - this time turn the clock towards dawn.
Your team will teleport to a place with a priest and a bomb.
Use the light here once more and turn the clock towards dusk.
After teleporting, use the stairs and follow the available path until you reach the last soul fragment.
Then go toWaidwenand recreate the parts of his soul.
