New objective:Mine the howitzers.

You will perform most of this mission with a knife, killing enemies silently.
Keep this in mind when planning the next moves.
You start in[1].
Your task is to quietly kill two guards patrolling that part of the trenches.
With a bit of luck you will eliminate both enemies without making any noise.
Another silent murders are waiting in[5].
Order two soldiers to sneak up there and get their knives ready (as a default weapon).
You should be able to do this the first time round.
After you’ve killed both guards, sneak up to[6].
There is a first howitzer here.
Hold down theXkey and clickLMBon the howitzer.
When one of your men reaches it, an “inventory” of the howitzer will open.
Put a red explosive charge inside it.
New objective:Eliminate radio operators, so they can’t call in helicopter support.
This time, place both of your men in the entrance to the trench in[7].
They must wait for two guards, who will come from inside the base.
Again, the second guard will be following the first at some distance.

Select another soldier and wait for the next guard.
Remember to collect knives!
They are so busy working that they won’t even notice you enter between them.

After eliminating the operators pick up the knives.

There are two guards having a rest here.

After eliminating the guards, put the second explosive charge in the howitzer nearby.
