There are many different animals in Minecraft.
They can be divided into aggressive, passive and neutral (those that will attack if provoked).
Some animals can be tamed and bred.
Keep in mind, however, that any creatures available in Minecraft can receive damage.
The animals are also vulnerable to explosions and fall damage.
Remember that some animals drop valuable items upon death.
Cow
The Cow is common in the Overworld.
From them, you’re able to obtainmeat,leatherandmilk(unlimited amount from each).
After that, they start approaching each other, which results in the appearance of a calf.
The calf grows for the next 20 minutes, and the adultcowscan bear offspring every 5 minutes.
Pig
You keep pigs formeat.
To start a pig farm, you should probably feed them withcarrotsat the minimum intervals of 5 minutes.
Piglets grow for 20 minutes.
From pig, you’re free to only obtainmeat.
Wolf/Dog
They often come in groups, neutral until provoked.
It can be tamed with severalbonesormeat(apart fromfish).
They can be bred in the very same way.
It can be encountered in deciduous forests and in taigas.
When aWolfis hostile, it can attack any player within reach.
it’s possible for you to breed them by feeding them with anymeat(also rotten).
The breeding process will become active is the dog that you have just fed was healthy.
It is five times as strong as the feral one and responds to commands of attack, sit/up.
Very helpful in combat.
Does not drop any items after it dies.
Ocelot/Cat
Ocelotsare tamable animals that live in the jungle.
As wild animals, they attackchickenandsheep.
TheFishneeds to be raw.
Also, to breed ocelots, you use fish, and afterwards, also to breedcats.
Thecatchanges its looks and it becomes black, black and white or ginger.
It scaresCreepersaway and that is their main use.
After it dies, the cat drops no items.
Bat
Bats occur in dark caves.
As a matter of fact, they are a decorative element in the game.
Chicken
TheChicken, is a basic farming animal.
you could obtaineggs,meat(poultry) andfeathersfrom them.
to breed them, you gotta feed them with seeds (melon,wheat,pumpkinornether warts).
After being fed for 5 minutes, it accepts no more food.
it’s possible for you to also breed them by throwingeggs.
The probability of obtaining a chicken this way is 1/8.
Mooshroom
Mooshroomsis a specific variety of the “Mooshroom cows”.
They can only be met in the mushroom biome.
So, if you have the opportunity, keepMooshroomsinstead of the regularcows.
you’re free to dye them after which, if sheared, they give wool in that color.
To breed them, you gotta feed them withwheatat the 5 minute intervals.
Squid
TheSquidslive in water reservoirs and that is where they spawn.
a waterfall from which they will be falling into your reservoir.
After being killed, they dropblack dye.
Horse
Horsesare the most intricate animals in the game.
After you kill them, you’re able to obtainleather.
By finding asaddle, or purchasing it at the village, you could ride them and control them.
It is problematic to breed them because, for that, you needgolden applesorgolden carrots.
The characteristic feature ofHorsesis their speed, ontodonkeysandmulesyou can put achestand travel with your equipment.
It is important to note that their appearance varies between the biomes.
Fox
Foxesonly appear in two types of biomes.
This determines their color.
you’re able to breed foxes usingsweet berries.
Remember, though, thatfoxesare inherently aggressive animals.
They feed onchickens, rabbits, small turtles, salmon, and cod.
Because of this, you’re able to often encounter them hunting other animals.
Panda
Pandaslive in jungles.
Unlike many animals in the game, they have various personalities.

Upon death, a panda can dropa bamboo.

Remember, however, that smallturtlescan be attacked by, e.g.zombies, ocelots, or wolves.
Parrot
Parrotsappear in five colors - green, blue, grey, red, and cyan.
These animals can be domesticated withseeds.
A tamed parrot can sit on the character’s shoulder and accompany you in travels.
However, parrots will avoid the water if you enter it.
They will either teleport to you when you come ashore or follow you.
Trivia - if you feed the parrota cookie, it will die after a few seconds.
Fish
Fishcome in four variants -tropical fish, cod, salmon and pufferfish.

Llama
Llamais a neutral mob that can be tamed.
Llamas are likedonkeys and mules.
it’s possible for you to put crates on them to make traveling easier.
you might also puta carpeton a llama.
This way it will stand out from the others.

Dolphin
Dolphinstravel large bodies of water in flocks.
They like to play with the player if an object is thrown into the water.
Due to their herd nature, it’s best not to attack them.
If you feeda dolphin, its trust level will increase.
However, if you feed thema cod- dolphins will swim to the nearest underwater ruins or a sunken ship.
