Upgrades
In Metro Exodus, a lot depends on your equipment.
This means you have to upgrade your gear on a regular basis to be more resistant to enemy attacks.

Compass upgrade
The compass upgrade is in the shipwreck.
You will reach this location during the main storyline.
The upgrade is in the bottom section of the deck.
Go down the stairs and look around.
The upgrade is on the desk located in the lowest section of the deck.
Glass Upgrade
You will find the glass (gas mask) upgrade in the canyon.
You will get to this location by completing story missions.
All you have to do is climb up the ladder and you will find all of the mentioned areas.
NVG Amplifier Upgrade
NVG Amplifier upgrade is located on the top of one of the buildings.
You will reach this location during side missions.
To get this upgrade, you must kick off the door at the top of the building?
The upgrade lies among the chairs.
Go up to them to lift the item.
Flashlight Upgrade
You will find the flashlight upgrade on the wreck of the boat.
You will reach this location by exploring the map.
When you enter the barge, you’ll find a chest.
The flashlight upgrade lies on it.
It’s eye-catching because the flashlight is on.
