Lost Arcanistis one of the initial story missions inAnthem.
When completing it, you will participate in the expedition to find Matthias Sumner.
Approach the javelin next to the Forge.The expedition briefingwindow will open.
Confirm starting a new story mission.
you might also invite your friends or grab the private session.
The last option also allows you to play solo (e.g.
if you don’t want to rush and listen to all dialogues).
Fly to the location where Matthias Sumner was last seen.
After reaching a small camp by the cliff, interact with the radio.
Now, follow the signal - fly through the next “checkpoints”.
Listen to conversation with Owen, after you reach your destination.
This way, you will find the Arcanists' gear.
Opponents (Scars) will appear nearby.Destroy Scar Hives to prevent them from appearing.
you’re able to use standard weapons, abilities, and melee attacks to destroy the hives.
After destroying a hive, deal with the remaining Scars.
After you win the battle fly to the next location with Scars.
You have to kill them as well.Turn on the Signal Booster.
After it is activated, continue flying on.
You will reach swamp, where you have to fight another battle.
After winning it,locate the radioand interact with it to give a shot to fix it.
For thefirst time, you will find yourself in the respawn restricted area.
You have to be careful - run away and hide from enemies when you’re near death.
Attack Scars appearing by the cracks.Scar Leader is a bit stronger.
It is a good idea to use the Ultimate ability to kill, or at least wound him significantly.
Get rid of the remaining enemies and attempt fixing the radio again.
Now, you have to reach the ruins.
EnterThe Dungeon - a separate small locationthat needs to load.
When exploring such places, you cannot use map.
Luckily, they are not very extensive.
Fly again and examine the cave on your way.
The last location should be a respawn restricted area.
Apart from regular opponents, you have to defeat theScar EnforcerandScar Reaver.
These are stronger opponents who additionally hide behind shields.
Look for opportunities to get behind them and attack them (e.g.
by freezing them).
Again, it’s possible for you to help yourself with the Ultimate ability.
In case of any significant damage taken, fly away and hide from them to make it regenerate.
After killing your opponents, fly toMatthias Sumnerto talk to him and complete this expedition.
