After the conversation withLeft-Clawgo and talk with the villagers ofHalfgateand ask them about theBeast.
During those conversations you’ll notice that none of them has any proof indicating theBeast’sguilt.

The location where you finish this quest,Stone Down Gorge, is unlocked during the main quests.
The missing villagers are found in the camp of theBeastsofStonestalkerstribe.
If you decided to freeLeft-ClawduringIn Chainsquest you’re able to convince the guard to free villagers.
Otherwise, she won’t talk with you and the fate of the villagers will be decided by combat.
Inform him during the conversation that they’re now free.
After that the group of villagers will go back toHalfgate.
Return to the quest giver to finish this mission.
To complete this mission you have to travel back toHalfgateand talk withGrayson.
He will thank you for your help but you’ll only receive a small number ofFavorpoints from the villagers.
Beside that you won’t get any items.
