Perk points are skill points inFar Cry 5.
Note- InFar Cry 5,you do not obtain experience points.
Perk points obtained from challenges
Completing challenges is the best way of obtaining perk points.
Many of the challenges are not too difficult, thanks to which they can be complete easily.
You have to kill several tens of enemies with a specific weapon (e.g.
those in outposts and ones that you randomly encounter).
you’re free to find throwables in many outposts and camps.
First, complete challenges connected with common animals, e.g.
skunks, salmons, turkeys, bears, wolves and cougars.
Headshot, silent takedown and car kills- all of these challenges are very easy.
This is an easy way to obtain 2 perk points.
Magazines about perks
While exploring the game world, you might find magazines.
Collecting each rewards you with1 permanent perk point.
One of such magazines has been shown in the above screenshot.
Keep an eye out for them, especially inprepper packs, i.e.
crates, or secret areas that you reach while completing treasure hunting mission.
These missions have been marked on the map with a green crystal icon.
you could find prepper packs while exploring the map and by asking around.
