Death inSekiro: Shadows Die Twicecosts you half of your XP and gold.
How to limit the problem of losing huge amounts of XP?
When you die,the game can take only half of your collected XP.
The picture above shows that we have collected about 50% of XP required for a new level.
In our case, we had 2 skill points - the game won’t take them upon death.
Attack weaker enemies to gain XP.

How to limit the problem of losing a lot of gold?
If you die inSekiro, youlose half of carried gold- sen that aren’t kept in purses.
There are two ways in which you might deal with this problem.
The first method is tobuy Spirit Emblems in large quantities- visit a Sculptor’s Idol to make purchases.
Spending large sums on several dozens or hundreds of Spirit Emblems is a good idea.
Sekiro can carry only a certain number of these items - unused ones are stored in Sculptor’s Idols.
The second method is tostore gold in purses bought from merchants.
Sadly, purses cost 10% more than what they can store.
For example, a Heavy Coin Purse can store 500 sen but it costs 550 coins.
