This LEGO game doesn’t have a lot of studs.
The characters are expensive and the multipliers cost even more.
So, how to get studs for all of that?
There are two tricks.
In the beginning of the game you should completely ignore collecting studs.
You don’t have to buy any characters because those unlocked after completing missions are free.
After completing all 20 missions you should have enough studs to buy Stud x2 Multiplier.
Remember to activate these multipliers after you buy them (Extras -> x2 multiplier).
The next step is to collect enough studs to buy x4 and x6 multipliers.
After that you won’t have to worry about studs anymore.
However, you have to collect them first (about 2,000,000 studs).
you could also focus on completing Gwenpool’s missions (especially mission 5 - Toe-to-Totem).
This will make collecting studs easier.
Simply activate the fountain and collect dozens of gold and blue studs.
Collect them all, save and exit the game, go back to the same spot and repeat.
It is important to save the game before you exit.
This method allows you to start in the second stage, right next to the fountain.
Thanks to that you’ve got the option to save a lot of time.
The second method is to complete challenges in Grandmaster’s room.
