In ATOM RPG you have to create your hero before the game starts.
you might choose his appearance, name and write his biography.
When you create a hero, you’re free to select his appearance.
However, it does not affect character statistics.
All statistics are influenced by the choice from the distinction category.

when you’ve got chosen them, give away your character’s points and character’s skills.
Each feature can have a maximum of 11 points and a minimum of 1.
You have 40 points to distribute.
The ideal character for the first game should have as many points as possibleLuck, Endurance and Attention.
This gives you a better chance of being successful in the game.
Luck: influences every action in the game.
Endurance: increases health points and resistance to negative effects of using items.
Strength: affects Carry Weight and the strength of melee attacks.
Dexterity: influences the hero’s dodge and combat speed.
Intellect: Unlocks new dialog options.
Personality: influences rhetoric and trade.
Most skills are regulated by the choice of distinction.
At the very beginning, it is best to invest in the skills listed below.
Martial Arts:
Influence on gameplay: regulates the strength of your blows and kicks.
This is a very important skill for the very beginning of the game.
Until you get the weapons, they will be your only resort.
Barter:
Influence on gameplay: affects trading and bargaining skills.
In the first hours of the game, you will spend a lot of time trading.
First Aid:
Influence on gameplay: heals small damage.
While exploring the world, you may encounter many enemies, some of them may seriously injure you.
If you develop First Aid you will be able to heal your wounds.
Lock Picking:
Influence on gameplay: affects the opening of locks.
Facilitates opening castles and acquiring new items at the beginning of the game.
Tinkering:
Influence on gameplay: allows you to create items.

Impact on statistics: -2 Personalities; -15 Carry weight.
Anabolic Fan:
Effects on gameplay: resistance to radiation and toxic substances.
Impact on statistics: +2 Strength, -1 Intellect, -8 Dodge, -5 Radiation, +20kg Carry Weight.
Ascetic:
Influence on gameplay: you are rarely hungry.
Impact on statistics: +10 Survival, -1 Strength, -7 Carry weight.
Slick Dealer:
Influence on gameplay: you are more likely to bargain for a better price.
