Arch mage Rakorium (M9, 10)talks totheriver guardsmentioning someone namedNottel.
Talk to him and he will ask you to findNottel- his student.
He’ll give you insteadawonderful artifact to kick off the caves- a normalpickaxe.
- Find source of magic
Return tothecircleand head towardsthebig stone.
Before you reach it, you’ll be attacked byspiderswhich appear in magic way.
Kill them and clickthestoneto destroy it.
Now enterthecave (M9, 11).
In a short conversation he’ll ask you to collect somemagical componentsand teleport himself out.
Moving further inthecaveyou will come across atthesecond incarnation of Marawamir- his darker character.
Components are:
1.
Strange bulb- you’ll get it after defeatingabig emerald spider (M11, 3).
Rare herb- you’ll get it after defeatingfireflies (M11, 4).
Strange berries- you’ll get it after defeatinga giant scorpion (M11, 5).
Strange leaf- you’ll get it after defeatinga giant crab (M11, 6).
Exotic flowers- you’ll get it after defeatinggiant stag beetles (M11, 7).
Talk toMarawamirstanding in the circle and watch him transforming.
Asaskeletonhe wants you to perform a ritual in accordance toabook lying nearby (M11, 9).
Asahumanhe wants you to perform a ritual in other way.
a) Complete the ritual as mage - skeleton wants.
Putthestrange bulbintotheritual bowllying next tothelargest stone.
Then head right and put into thebowls a rare herb,exotic flowers,strange berriesandastrange leaf.
After putting downtheingredientstalk tothemage.
He finishes the ritual, and then attacks you.
When you kill him return toRakorium (M9, 10)andNottel, who was saved by the ritual.
b) Complete the Reversalis ritual as mage - human wants.
To learn how to perform the ritual according tothemage - human, you have to robthemage - skeleton.
Then head right and put into thebowls strange berries,exotic flowers,arare herbandastrange bulb.
After putting down the ingredients talk to themage.
He finishes the ritual, and thenthemage - humanwill appear.
He’ll give youaring of life(+10 VP) as a reward.
Return toRakorium (M9, 10)andNottel, who was saved by the ritual.
c) Place the ingredients in wrong order
it’s possible for you to also puttheingredientsin wrong order.
