Mr. Toadapparently hides what has just happened, so you will have to conduct an investigation his apartment.

Toad, start searching through his apartment.
Behind you, there is the door with aBusted Latch(You discovered something).
Next to it, there is a brokenLamplaying on the floor.
Mr. Toadmakes up unbelievable stories about the items you find.
you might catch Toad in a lie three times.

You get outside through the window.

When the sequence is complete, start a conversation with the suspect.
He claims to be a private investigator (which is a lie) and introduces himself asDee.
Unfortunately you will find yourself caught in a trap, and get knocked out by his brotherDum.
That is where you will head next.
During a ride in a cab, you will have an opportunity to talk withSnow.
She will ask you who is your main suspect.

Regardless of the answer, you will be interrupted by someone trying to break into the apartment.

If you simply wait and watch the course of events, and do nothing,Lawrencewill shoot himself.
Regardless of the choice, you will start the pursuit after the burglar.
