This page describes theBehind the Linesmission inJust Cause 4.
This is the first mission for a character namedSargento.
Beginning of the mission
You will get access to the mission after completing theOperation Whiteouttask.
The mission goal is quite far away if you decide to follow the main road there.
A much better idea is to use the wingsuit.
Jump off a nearby precipice, use the wingsuit and head towards the mission marker.
If you fall to the ground, continue your journey with a parachute and rope.
This way you will start the mission.
Escorting a truck
Your main goal is to escort a truck.
Jump on it and your journey will begin.
At some point you will come across a blocked road.
You will now have access to the first modification of the grappling hook, the air lifter.
Start the map and then enter the hook menu.
Set up the air lifter according to the game instructions and return to game world.
Sometimes one balloon is not enough, so just pin more balloons.
The Air Lifter is not the only improvement of the grappling hook.
For more information, kindly refer to the “How to improve the grappling hook?”
section in our guide.
Of course, you could also use the air lifter to fight your opponents.
You will be constantly attacked by enemies while driving.
It’s best to use a grenade launcher or rocket launcher.
This way you’ll quickly get rid of vehicles that chase you.
You may fall out of the truck during a fight.
Then return to the truck as soon as possible using your grappling hook.
Defending the village
The last stage of the task is to defend the village.
The main attack will come from the side of the road.
Despite that, smaller units will attack you from virtually any side.

It’s a good idea to use a nearby launcher to get rid of enemy vehicles.
You must survive for about 2 minutes.
If the truck is not destroyed during this time, you will complete theBehind the Linesmission.
