In this mode, the Empire hasone or two walking machineswhich are slowly moving towards the rebel base.
Empire players are tasked with protecting them from attacks.
The map is divided into sectors.
The battlefield is constantly moving towards the Rebel base.
The AT-ATs are moving with the same speed whichisn’t affected by the situation on the battlefield.
The map is divided into sectors withthree pairs of transmitters.
They are the target of the ground battle.Two transmittersare active simultaneously.
As the time flows, the transmitters closer to the rebel base become active.
The Empire player can use similar method to turn it off.
During most of the game, the rebelscannotattack AT-ATfrom the ground.Y-Wingsare needed for that.
You receive one such vehicle for defending the transmitter for 45 seconds.
The time is counted separately for each transmitter, which means you might receivetwo Y-Wings every 45 seconds.
Because of that, the whole ground battle takes place around the transmitters.
However, there is a time whenAT-AT is unprotectedand everyone can attack it.
It happens whenactive transmitters are changingand empire forces are moving forward.
Duringone minutethe walking machines can be attacked witheveryweapon pop in.
Rebels must destroyallAT-ATs to make it win.
Empire wins if at least one walking machine reaches the Rebel base.
The number of Y-Wings currentlyairborneis seen on the left.
The lines in the middle mark theroadthat AT-AT is walking through and the dots represent thepairs of transmitters.
Two symbols on the right side areAT-AT.
Around them you’re able to seehow damaged they are.
Playing as rebel infantry is harder since Empire hasAT-ST and AT-ATwith which killing a simple soldier is very easy.
You will provide the greatest help to your team if you will controlY-Wingand directly help in destroying the AT-AT.
you’re free to also select other flying machine and try tocontrol the air spacefor players in Y-Wings.
Other good option is usingflyingvehicles and protecting the walking machines from enemyY-Wings.
If you don’t feel strong in airplanes, then make a run at get into theAT-ST.
