If you arrive there from the north, divide your enemies into two groups.
Next, enter a stone garden full of statues, or rather, petrified creatures.
It’s going to be aBasilisk.
Stay in hiding and use theSight Stealer.
Direct the remote-controlled eye in such a way as to find the monster in[6].
Approach its head and fire the missile, which will cause theSight Stealerto deprive the beast of its eyes.
Your next task is to kill theBasilisk.
It won’t be easy.
The creature is strong, it attacks both directly and from a distance, and it can also poison.
Remember about thealtar of willpower, as it can be useful in the battle.
You must kill them to take the aura of immortality off theBasilisk.
There are going to be two spider-like monsters and twoHamadryadsattacking from a distance.
Come back to the fight with theBasiliskafter neutralizing those enemies.
Each next group will be more challenging than the previous one.
After three groups of enemies nobody will stand in your way to fight the monster.
Finish it off and you’ll receive as much as100,000 XP.
You’ll receive5,000 XPand some new information.
Go to[10]and find the rocks near the kettle to the right.
Put theBasilisk’s Clawinside, and you’ll get10,000 XP.
You’ll find quite a lot items.
The largest number of items is in the most northward chamber.
Take them all, and you’ll receive6,000 XP.
You’ll receive60,000 XP, complete this task, and the spell cast on the shaman will be removed.
Talk toTornakand agree to his conditions.
Only now can you do the quest[22-S] Scientific Revolution.
